This spot gives fantastic service and enjoyable menu. One of the best spot ever. The food and drinks arrived fast and the prices are fair. I recommend this place.

I come to this special place often as I like the special atmosphere that is outline this restaurant. The personel is extraordianrillyremarkably friendly and experienced. The service is awfully fast. Also, the food they cook is first-rate. I ate there many times and I was always satisfied. The pay is fair. I recommend this place to all my friends.

Great food

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner here. It’s not somewhere you go for a quick bite; it’s more of an experience. The dishes were prepared with care and the service was excellent.

Our waiter Alessandro as usual was superb. His recommendations were spot on and his entertainment for our three children was to them magical. Consistently engaging ownership and the dishes remind me of home made fare. Not to be missed. Bravo!

Two wonderful Birthday dinners this Feb. and April. Food is excellent, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The owner, Alberto, has a sincere passion for food and his restaurant and wants the best for his patrons. Don't pass up this gem of a restaurant in Whitestone. You must try the homemade limoncello, to die for! Mille grazie Alberto!

When I walked in with my wife was greeted by owner but I felt awkward after telling me he had tables that where reserved for parties and if we wanted to sit somewhere else we had to be finished by a certain time ridiculous at that time I should have did a about face wife had pasta dish she liked I had salmon tasteless and roasted potatoes again no flavor pasta fagoli was good and desert panda cotta also I dont llike someone telling me on your bill 20 Pct suggested I should be a judge of that not for me sorry

My wife found this place on the Whitestone blog. We wanted to stay local and were in the mood for seafood; kids love pasta so we decided to try it out. We got the Grilled Octopus and Fried Calamari / Zucchini plater for appetizers. Branzino and Salmon for my wife and I, Seafood pasta, 4 cheese pasta and Chicken parmigiana for my girls. Everything was amazing. Too stuffed for dessert but we’re still here so you never know. The old gentleman server was a pleasure. Didn’t catch his name but I’ll find out before I get out of here.

Pena ala vodka was good. Bread was sparce. Meatballs were ok. Finally somewhere that doesn't load them up with bread But lacked flavor. No garlic no Romano cheese no parsley. Music to loud.

Great Italian dinner spot with great service. I had the mussels as an appetizer which were fantastic (recommend bread for the left over red sauce). For the main course we had the broccoli rabe with sausage and chicken parmesan. The sausage was finely chopped and amazing and the chicken parm was awesome given the way it is prepared with bread sticks as the breading. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good Italian food and a nice peroni beer or glass of wine with their dinner.

Don’t miss this this fabulous gem of a restaurant! Delicious, reasonably priced authentic southern Italian dishes, served by a professional and friendly staff. A real find! Although we live in Manhattan, this restaurant was more than worth the trip. We can’t wait to return! Kudos to Alberto and Mary Alice!

Certainly a spot worth trying, the food is great and fresh, the pricing is reasonable and it is always well kept in here. Keep it up.

Service was fantastic, restaurant is spotless. We started with cold antipasto which was fresh and delicious. We ordered the Sea Bass special with sauteed spinach, Pappardelle Bolognese, Chicken Parm and Cavatelli Campagnola. Everything was cooked to perfection, the cavatelli dish was incredible. We finished with a few desserts, the Chocolate Terrine being my favorite, it was light and delicious. Looking forward to my third visit!

My friends and I ate here twice we all tried different dishes each time along with the appetizers all was delicious. Service was on point, nice atmosphere, owner gave us a free desert on both visits and it was amazing. If I had to critique I noticed some pasta dishes were bigger than others, not sure why and I like warm bread but neither is a deal breaker. It's my new go to in Whitestone.

What a wonderful experience! We had my mother’s birthday dinner tonight and were impressed! Easy parking, inviting welcome, and seated immediately. For starters we had the mixed seafood, especially loved the calamari and shrimp. The grilled octopus was tender. The buffalo mozzarella excellent. I had the cacio a Pepe perfectly prepared al dente. Chicken Francese was delicious and also tried my mother’s veal special breaded and topped with Parmesan. I love that the food was tasty but didn’t feel heavy.Our wonderful server made the frothiest cappuccino and with it a light airy chocolate terrine, a perfect end to a perfect evening. Thank you!

Great family place. Food was very good. They had a risotto pescatore which was prepared and plated beautifully. The service was friendly and on point. Welcome to Whitestone!

Never know there is an Italian Restaurant nearby and pretty fair in food quality and price. Grilled octopus was great, juicy and tender and not cooked and too chewy, highly recommended to try. Baby octopus was today’s special and the tomato sauce was also a good match too. Seafood pasta, ox tail ravioli were delicious and the pistachio crusted trout was nice too. Salmon and steak were just average, and I just didn’t get why my friend ordered a steak in the Italian restaurant.
